Who Doesn’t Love a Hamburger?
I know, it is a little late but I couldn’t really help it so without further ado (is that how you spell that?) I give you another hamburger review.
Southern Buffet
The hamburger this week comes to you from the Southern Buffet over on Ft Campbell. Now I know this isn’t a place that some of you will be able to come on to without a reason I still just had to try it out.
This was a good old fashioned bacon cheeseburger. Now I have to tell you, other than being fresh there just wasn’t anything special about this burger. It wasn’t that it was bad it was just okay. The meat was cooked right but it had no flavor. It had the grill marks but not the taste. If I had the opportunity to go back and have one I think I am going to pass it up unless it is that or fast food. The price of the burger and fries come in at $6.95 and that just a little more than you would pay for the same thing plus a drink at one of the popular fast food places and by all means it was better than a Mickey D’s. It was a 1/2 burger so the whole meal was much more than I could or should eat. Now the fries were good. I am not a fry guy , I usually eat my burger first and eat fries last but I ended up eating more of these than I usually do. All in all it was just another meal. Would I recommend it? Well don’t go out of your way but if you just happen to be in the neighborhood you may want to try it.
