Out of all of the cookie cutter make money blogs out there it is refreshing to run across a site with a different focus and being a guy what better than to run across a site that is about guy stuff. It is a rather new site and there isn’t a whole lot of articles yet but what is there are quality. There are seven topics and each contain either one or more articles so there is plenty to keep you busy if you are a first time visitor. Myself I enjoyed the article on shaving, it really hit home when it talked about shaving being more of a chore to be done as fast as possible now instead of something that could be relaxing. Hell at todays pace we seem to look at everything as a chore and push through those things that should be more enjoyable because we are trying to squeeze more into those 24 hours. Trend Spike is one of those things that you are are going to want to sit back and relax while you are reading it. Don’t just rush through it, it could be relaxing if you take your time. Guys, where do you keep your best magazines and reading materials? Well this is one of those sites that you could read in the same place.

Another positive for the site is the fact that there are very few advertisements and even those that are there are out of the way and unobtrusive. So many sites out there fill every usable space with widgets, ads, and any other thing that you can imagine causing load times to skyrocket with no consideration for the reader. I guess they don’t realize that the readers experience is what will bring them back, not seeing the latest blogrush widget. The site design also helps in the user experience and brings a choice of articles to the front to choose from and the way it is handled I don’t mind clicking the read more link. Trend Spike has a good load time and loads for me in about 2 seconds for an all ready cached site. I am sure it would take a little longer if I cleared my cache but not too much longer.

Now women if you are reading this then you may be thinking that Trend Spike is not for you. Well have you ever heard or seen those guys that will pick up a Cosmo or some other womens mag and read it? Well they do that sometimes to get a little more informed on what women want. Well you could use Trend Spike to get to know guys a little more. Like the kind of games that we like to play or other stuff that we are interested in. Maybe even make a few comments if the info provided is off from a womens perspective. Hey girls, we need all of the help we can get sometimes.

Will online mags take the place of periodicals like GQ, Maxim, or Stuff? Well I could see Trend Spike doing it if they continue on the path that they are on now. Just a few little touches and I am sure that the site will become extremely popular. Heck with all of those magazines all you end up with is a big stack of paper lying somewhere around the house or taking up space in a landfill. With Trend Spike you have a space on the web where you can head over and look up archived information that will not take up space in your house or a landfill.
