Top Blog: DotSauce
I happened across this site not long after joining Entrecard. It only took me a couple of visits before I decided that it was Top Blog material. It is a site dedicated to Domaining but they also talk about many other things. Heck all of the little pictures that you have seen on the site lately are because of a little Firefox plugin that DotSauce recommended. It has become one of those sites that I visit everyday looking for that new piece of information that I can use to improve my sites.
1. Quality Content; The content on this blog is the type of stuff that want to read through real well. You will always be able to pick up some real informative stuff that if used wisely. Domaining is something that can be real easy to get into but not quite as easy to make money at if you do not have the knowledge. That is where DotSauce comes in. Read, learn, and put it to use.
2. Fun; I am not sure why but the atmosphere of the blog just seems lively. The template, pictures, and articles just makes it easy to go and read. Not just a chore like it seems that some blogs are, you know the ones, they have great information, you just dread going over and picking through it.
3. Originality; This is a site where the subject is not original but the site seems to be one of a kind. The way the content is presented, the style of writing. It just isn’t another copy of an A list blog.
4. Post Regularly; So far it seems to be updated on a daily basis or very closely. New content every day keeps the bounce rate low and you never know if that new article will grab that guy that just hops from site to site and make him check out your archives. DotSauce seems to have the right recipe.
5. Personality; You can see the personal aspects of the blog. The knowledge seems to come from personal experiences and not just some cookie cutter articles that are posted just to have something on the website.
Don’t take my word for it though, check the site out for yourself. If you don’t find any useful stuff come back here and tell me and I will try and find something you will like. Heck it is almost a money back guarantee (except you are not spending anything so I won’t have to give any thing back). Now if you do choose to get a pemium subscription to his site, I have no information on it. That you do on your own. I suggest that you check out these two articles though;
