Sweet Revenge
Revenge, have you ever thought about it? Has someone done something to you that just couldn’t be forgiven? Have you seen the previews for the new Tim Burton film? Now that is a true example of revenge if I have ever seen one.
The movie is about a man Benjamin Barker who is framed for a crime and sent to prison. The man who sent him did it to steal his wife and daughter. Now talk about a reason for some revenge! When he returns he is no longer Benjamin Barker but Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street and he decides to take his revenge out in a devilish way with a straight razor. There is nothing like an extra smile carved in your neck to make your day. Revenge can be a powerful motivator and will drive you on through any type of hardship just so you can even the score. It may even drive you crazy and crazy is what Sweeney Todd is.
The movie features Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd, Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett, and Sacha Baron Cohen as Adolfo Pirelli (a rival barber).
