PayDotCom Widget
Some of you that visit the site may have noticed a new widget. Now I am not of fan of widgets and I try to minimize them as much as possible on my site but this one was a little hard to bypass. It is a bit of simple code and it doesn’t increase my load times much and the bonus is that it features products that webmasters would be interested in (my main audience). I am hoping this will be a good way to monetize my site. Right now about the only thing I run on the site that earns any money are ads and they don’t do that good. Why don’t you head over to PayDotCom and get your own widget.

I don’t like widgets too, they’re sore to the eyes and makes the site heavier to load. Does the paydot.com really works? It is my first time to hear them. Do they really pay?
I visited the site and it seems interesting so will join it soon, have you made any sales yet, I still think clickbank is one of the best.
That’s an interesting marketing program, but i wonder how many of them are in the internet, it’s time to make my own.

Looks like an amazon widget. Those look-a-like widgets generally take extra time in loading but since you said it didn’t effect you load time, I’ll probably give it a try.
One thing that really interests me is the clickbank ads you can put on your site. They apparantely look just like adsense, and the way you get paid is if somebody goes through and buys one of the products.
If they do you get a lot more than you would with adsenes. I might give this a shot. However this widget might be worth trying too.

I’ve heard a bit about PayDotCom and have even signed up for an account, but it’s just simpler to use Clickbank in my opinion.

Colorful web widgets are fun to eat. I mean fun to embed on blogs.
That must be great to those who are not good or don’t have time to create a customize theme for their site. The look of the site is really important. If its beautiful, it feels good to stay and read some more of the posts. It helps in making it really comfortable.

Widgets are really painful. I almost hate widgets. But all aren’t the same.
I have found that widgets contribute to give a very high CPU usage, which can cause problems with your hosting company if you use more than a 10% resource threshold.

PayDotCom is a poor copy of Clickbank.com, so I would say this one is waaay better. Another one you might be interested in is Commission Junction website http://www.cj.com.
