One Buck Wiki

Well most of you may have heard of One Buck Wiki by now. Just in case you haven’t though you might want to check it out. It wasn’t a very original idea, just a little cheaper than the $100 bucks a page that Million Dollar Wiki charges. For the first 1000 pages they sold for $1 a page for any name that wasn’t already taken. After that the pages went up to $10 and that is where they are at right now. I went ahead and decided to pick up a few. I dropped just $40 and grabbed a few that I will be featuring here later on. It is sort of an experiment for now just to see what I can do with them. They will be mine for 15 years so that should be a fairly good deal and once I set them up they should be fairly maintenance free except for the periodic addition to keep the content and style fresh. At the very least they will provide me with some incoming links to some of my sites.
My next step tonight after I get through with this article is to go and buy some advertising. With a little luck and a whole lot of work I am hoping to turn this site around. Well stay tuned for more on those wikis and look forward to a few more articles in the next few days reviewing some great sites.
