New Laptop
Well, I broke down a picked up a new laptop. The one I was using was around three years old and it was way too big and it put off enough heat to warm up a small room. It would really heat up the eggs in just a few minutes! Needless to say it was uncomfortable to use it. The battery had also went bad and it refused to charge anymore. I mean what good is a laptop that isn’t portable? Other than that it still worked fine. I am not sure what I am going to do with it, I have thought about selling it on ebay or something. I have way too many computers as it is because I never get rid of them when I build a new one.

The only thing that I wished it had was a media card reader so that I could upload my photos easier but I should be able to pick one up fairly cheap. I mean the laptop was cheap as it was so I can’t complain too much. I am finding that I like Windows Vista. It isn’t so much different from XP and it does look a little better. I will be taking this thing with me to Afghanistan so that I can try and keep up with writing articles for all of my sites so I am glad that it is a lighter than my old one. Do you need a new laptop? Well it is Christmas, why not pick up one for yourself? heck out some of the deals below.

Seems like you got a great laptop that can process all your blogging needs
How much was it?

I picked it up for $399. It was a pretty fair price for a reconditioned laptop.
Congrats on your laptop. I got mine today and I love it. It’s a DELL, brand new with better specs but it cost about $1,500. For $399, thats a pretty damn good laptop.
I only wanted something to write articles for my blogs and take care of the sites I own. The last laptop I got was a desktop replacement and I was never really happy with it. I also wanted to keep the expenses down. I am hoping to actually pay for this and all of my other expenses associated with my sites with what I make in 2008.
I’m glad that you like Vista. I do too. When I use a XP machine, I really miss some of the great features in Vista such as the index search, nice looking UI and I feel Safer!
But I wanna ask, what brand is the laptop? Or is it a mix of different brands?
Microsoft may build new OS than vista, do you know Vienna, may be some one can now
