Making Money With Auction Ads
What is it?
AuctionAds is an affiliate program that leverages the higher affiliate payout from ebay because of all of the people in the program.

So as you can see above the more an Ebay affiliate sells then the better the payout. Well the idea behind AuctionAds is that if all of us together are producing in the higher revenue area then Auction Ads is able to give a higher payout.
Targeting
Now this is one of those ads that really needs to be targeted. You really need to have your keywords right when you get the code for your site because with the wrong stuff popping up in your ads you may just miss the boat. For Open Road Biker I use keywords like motorcycle, harley davidson, and other related. I am going to go in and fine tune it and add stuff like motorcycle helmets, motorcycle gloves, and other smaller items so that I can grab some of the smaller buys that people make a little more frequently.
Placement
Where do you place the code? Well in a targeted post would be the best place to put it. I am going to experiment with putting it in posts on my hot rod site and run it in every other article and see how it does against google. Now I am sure that because someone has to buy something or sign up with ebay then the earning

be lower but each completed transaction will be worth more than the cpc for google. It should all work out in the end. As far as to blend or not to blend, well that is up to you. With something like this, where you want someone to buy then it may be best for the ad to stand out. I am going to look into this myself on my biker blog and see if I can get a few more conversions.
Time and Traffic
If you decide to try them out (do it for the $25 bucks!) then give it some time. It may take some time for the clicks to kick in plus auctions sometimes last a week or so. Now if you target the ads real well and your site gets good traffic then you should have no trouble making money with Auction Ads.
So go ahead and sign up and spread the word, I am not sure how long the new affiliate promotion will last but I wouldn’t wait.
