Hamburger Fridays

Cheeseburger Charlies Today I am going to start a weekly review of Hamburgers. I mean how many among us doesn’t love a good hamburger? So as of today every Friday will be Hamburger Friday. I will choose a restaurant each week and try out some hamburger from them. It doesn’t really matter what kind of burger it is just as long as it is made with some type of ground cow meat. So let the review begin.

Cheeseburger Charley’s
I had never even heard of this place until earlier this week. I passed a sign that said they were good for you and looked and seen the name and decided that they would be my first guinea pig. The restaurant was nice and clean and wasn’t full of shiny plastic yellow stuff to distract you from the food just simple decor. On the menu was seven different burgers and a few hot dogs for adults and three children’s meals. I chose the 1/2 pound burger combo. The cost before tax was $6.88 and as you can see from the picture above it comes with a fair helping of fries and the burger is big enough if not too big. I didn’t check but it tasted like they were using ground sirloin giving me a burger without all of the grease or maybe it was just the flame grilling that did it. Now if you notice from the picture, there was no condiments. Well they leave that to you and give you a full condiment bar to do it with. Everything looked fresh and they had all you would want on your burger plus a few things that I found strange to be there but hey, it’s yours make it how you want. I put a small amount of lettuce, some thin sliced tomatoes, red onions, kosher dill pickles slices, and mustard. Now that to me is how a burger should be made but we are all different and you may just want those been sprouts on your veggie burger (ewwwww!). So how was my burger you may ask? Well I enjoyed it thoroughly. It was a meal and had a great flavor. To top that off the fries were some of the best that I have ate in some time. I do plan on going back every chance that I get and if you are interested and live in the Clarksville, TN area the check them out at 700 North Riverside Drive. They also have a website at www.cheesburgercharleys.com

So what do you think about the article? Is there a hamburger that you want me to try? Leave a comment and let me know.
