Follow No More
I have been doing a little thinking about what I am trying to do with this blog. I have always thought that it was a good name for a site and have hoped that it would become a fairly popular site. Well once I started doing sponsored posts I feel that the quality of my site has went down hill. Now I would not mind doing a clearly marked article maybe once a week for PPP or other advertising sites like that but there are a few problems;
1. Some of them allow an advertiser to specify that you cannot disclose in your post. Well that opens up questions on the integrity of my site. I want all of my viewers to know if a post is sponsored.
2. They require that the links that you use do not have the no follow attribute. This in conjunction with doing sponsored reviews has stripped the little bit of page rank that this site has and I have seen a sharp decrease in search engine traffic because of it also.
I guess I am just going to focus on bringing you quality sites from all over the net and also trying to help those of you that are just starting out building your websites with tips and information. I guess we will have to see how that goes.
