Fastest Loading Entrecard Sites
Here is what I am planning to do. I want to build a list of the top 300 fastest loading sites that feature the Entrecard Widget. It will take some time and I will need a little help from you, the reader. The sites will have to meet certain restrictions but they aren’t very strict.
- Must load faster than 20 seconds using this site analyzer. Once you enter your sites information and it has been analyzed you will get a series of stats. I need the time from the download times using the connection rate block for the T1 1.44Mbps. The following is a picture of that block;
- The Entrecard widget must be above the fold. In other words the EC needs to appear close enough to the top of the site so that someone does not have to scroll down to see it. If you will look at mine you will see that it is right at the fold and right below it according to your screen and resolution.
- The site can not contain porn or be a hate site. I reserve the right to not include any site I determine unsuitable.
That is it, just use the comments section to submit your site. All links from the comments section will be do follow and once the list is made the top 20 sites will also be do follow. So what do you have to lose? You will have a back link and a possible stream of traffic.
There use to be a list like this on another site but it was discontinued. While it was up I received tons of traffic from it. Once you make the list I will send out an email congratulating you. Expect it to take a few days for me to ad the link according to how much traffic this post gets. The list will be updated as needed once it is complete. So go ahead and test your site and then submit it.

Aww the widget requirement is killer. I have my widget very close to the top and easy to find (Very few ads on the site) AND my site loads in 7.5 seconds, yet ya gotta scroll down like half a page =\

I’m afraid that my site can’t load that fast. The user must have a T1 connection for Orangeinks to load below 20 secs.
Should load around 6 seconds with a T1. I think the widget’s position is at a great place but not above the fold.

I have 15.94, much slower than yours but I am thankful that you have shared this. It gives a lot of info how am I going to make the site load faster and make it lighter…

George your site shows up as over 20 seconds, do a little work, remove some widgets and resubmit please. You will only improve your visitors experience by doing so.
