Atomic Guitar
Is there anyone out there that likes playing the guitar? I have always wanted to learn but I never could stick to it long enough or have enough patience. Along comes Jason Parker over at Atomic Guitarist and he asked me to do a review of his site. At first glance it seems to be a great resource for beginners and experts alike. So without further waiting lets jump into this review.
Atomic Guitarist
When I first visited the site I found the layout kind of bland especially after getting a feel for the kind of guitar playing that he likes. Now the site isn’t ugly or anything, it just needs a little spicing up but beyond that it is a very functional site. It is fairly easy to navigate with the menu bar across the top. He also has links to other guitar related sites in the side bar. I imagine you could spend a few days going through his site and looking at those that he recommends.
Articles
He has plenty of articles to browse through with news, guitar lessons, and gear reviews all mixed up. For those of you still trying to learn to play I am sure you could pick a little something up by checking out a few of his lessons. You could always head to his beginner page and sign up to receive 25 free guitar lessons that he says will get you good fast. I wish I had the patience to take him up on it and see just how good the lessons are but for now I am just going to have to take his word for it. You can head on over there and try it out though, I mean what do you have to lose it’s free?
Music
Now I love music, I can’t play any instrument but I have always enjoyed listening to all types of music and he puts some of his stuff up there and every now and then he will review other stuff from the industry. Through browsing his blog for this review I have found a few names of artists that I am going to check out further also like Stephen Malkmus. Now I am not sure if the following is his but it is called “Lobsta Face” and I kind of liked it.

Suggestions
Categories, a site needs them. It helps with navigation, search engine optimization, and will help you target important article like lessons or music. It could go somewhere in the sidebar and as long as you kept the amount of categories below ten it will look fine. Other than that, it seems like an interesting site. I have it bookmarked now and I plan on going back.
The preceding review is not a paid review and is of my own opinion with no outside influence. Would you like me to do a review of your site? Just use the contact tab above and send me an email and I will get back to you and also be sure to spread the word about my free reviews.

Thanks for your review of my site! I’ll take all your advice to heart.
I’ve already began changing things around, like the giant logo I’ve been working with since after you posted this review.
Your opinions truly do help since I’m just a guitarist, not a web designer. =)
Great (and honest) review!
Thanks,
Jason
